Balance

I cannot believe how fast the semester has passed me by! Each week seemed like a countdown to this trip to Denmark. I am excited to see the steps Denmark takes to reach its sustainability goals by 2024! I am excited to immerse myself in a new culture, especially now that Denmark is preparing for Christmas celebrations! Now all that is left is packing, making sure I have all my appropriate documents and passport, and saying goodbye to friends and family (who have given me a list of souvenirs to bring back)!

However, with the excitement of traveling, I am reminded that the end of the semester is almost here. While sitting here at the Green & Gold Fund meeting, listening to the Financial Sector present their investment strategies for the semester, a thought creeps in, “Wow, I have so many projects, tests, and papers I need to finish.” I realize that even on this trip, I’ll have to find time to complete all these assignments. It is a reminder that life stops for no one, and balance is key. I will have to find time to complete these assignments and hopefully create new memories and enjoy the experiences in the present moment on this trip!
