Birmingham tomorrow & Copenhagen on Thursday

Today was my last day of work for a while. I worked all morning, and I have been packing and making final preparations for the big trip all afternoon. Tomorrow I’m flying to Birmingham to see some family and friends then it’s off to Denmark on Thursday. I used to be a big time over packer but I’ve gotten better about that lately. I think I’ve got just the right amount of stuff for this one. I ordered a power outlet adapter for the trip, and I’m also bringing a rain jacket, base layers, and a printed copy of our itinerary among the other usual stuff. Hopefully I don’t forget anything too important. I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone from class in person, and I’m really appreciative that Dr. Culver allowed me to take the class remotely. I graduate in the summer so I wanted to take advantage of this awesome program before it was too late. I think I’m going to get a few last laps in at Vail in the morning before I hit the road tomorrow. That’s all for now. I’ll see everybody on the other side.
